Brett,
Just some suggestions:
try different transitions, not just hard cuts. try some disolves, they are a bit easier on the eyes. Beleive it or not - most people are able to focus to the next clip faster with a disolve vs. a cut.
Be creative, try some other transitions, such as slides, wipes, even some you may think goofy, such as the rotaing cube, which is a great transition between different segments (I don't know if that is available to you though).
And you don't always have to do a zoom or movement, sometimes a still just needs to be.... still.
Also, some of the clips flash so quick I can't even see what the picture subject is. But.... you don't want the viewer to get tired of the picture too quickly.
A good rule I learned is that: less than 3 seconds is to quick, more than 8 seconds is too long. somewhere in between - depends on the subject matter.

actually if i can say a bit, if you use flash for videos like that....youlll like it better, and i have some books if you need some to help you out, whatever rat cant help you with, I can...flash would make it smaller and streamable,,,,im surprised rat doesnt use it,,,file size is alwasy an issue for web users...and as far as transitions go, you dont want to use alot of transitions whips, swipes, dissolves...and such.. most ppl will overuse the trans ....best way to pick it up...is watch cnn....they have great video action and movement...and they never loose your attention to what they want you to pay attention too..
good video though...just to long to download was my only complaint, the above is just info when i was in school what i was told by my teachers...
what program are you using for making those?
here are a few that i used when i was in school..
macromedia...
flash, fireworks, director. premier, photoshop, vegas and a lot more..
director, which is great for putting it all on cd using programming language to make things happen.. lingo is the language, you can find tutorials for everything you need on the web for each program i listed..again i dont know what you are using...but thought id give some info you might not be aware of..
vegas is a great video program..i dont much care for pinnacle and only use premier when you have a lot of ram, if your building something big.
Soundforge and Sonic foundry is great sound editing. also when you use pictures in your video, and your wanting to put it on the web, use photoshop or fireworks to bust your graphics down to a point that makes them smaller but doesnt break the quality......ill go to dry storage saturday or sunday...and see if i can locate all my books ...and loan them if your interested..

Neo...thanks for the advice. I'm currently using iMovie which comes on all Macs. From what I know about about editing software (which is VERY little obviously) it's a very basic program. Most of what I plan to create in the future will be mostly video, with the occasional still pic thrown in to mix things up. I don't plan on getting too detailed or spend a lot of time making videos...I just want to know enough to make some cool videos of my soon-to-be-born-son and of trackdays and weekend rides when I can. Who knows I may really get into it and want to do more and spend money on new programs. I do already have Photoshop...just need to learn how to use it properly!
Timmay, already have the video camera so all I need now is the tank mount. Hopefully will have a bullet cam installed for the first trackday of the year as well. 8)

Actually NO video made it into this project. I got it saved.
Hey Kev I got the Canon DV200 on sale for $300. Not the best camera on the market, but decent enough and it accepts DV-In so you can use a bullet cam.
