In a recent discussion with a member it was brought to light they have state minimum insurance coverage which is 25,000/50,000. Thankfully I was able to advise them to increase to 100,000/300,000 but they stayed with their current insurance carrier even though I was much cheaper. What is important here is that they did bump their limits and I respect someone having loyalty with the person they do business with. However, from a selfish standpoint I would love their business. =) This morning while driving to work (I live on the IL side and drive to West County) I did see all the accidents and know people are going to be sued. If you do not have enough coverage YOU are responsbile for the $100,000 or whatever the settlement amount will be to the other party. I bought the bike back in December 08 from the original owner. I am only selling since I/we are planning a wedding and to the married folks you know how much a wedding cost. Lol Wedding > motorcycle - Several chrome parts including wheels - Silver metallic paint job (never down previous owner had extra paint from painting his truck) - Tune up 200 miles ago - Power commander - Extended/polished swingarm - Lowered 2-3 inches - Full Muzzy exhaust I know there are other things done such as new battery and such but I can not recall everything at this time. Yes I did but the odds of me having to replace the battery are slim. They are covered for 100,000k and/or 7 yrs. If I still have the car by that time it means I intend to keep it which is unlikely how often I change cars. Thanks for the heads up though!
