Hp-powdercoating 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2009 you have a pic of a set of wheels in here that have powder coated centers but the outer portions of the wheel are polished (chromed?). can you explain what you did on that particular set? These Wheels ?? These were a set off My old 900rr , when i bought the bike in Piece's the wheels were already Polished. So what i did was Polish them up & Clean them really good. Pre-bake in Oven "outgas", To remove any oil ,gas, Grease or any Solvents tramped in the Aluminum. Remove from oven and once there Cool i masked off wheel Lips. Then i Powder Coat the center of wheels with Candy Red & Bake For 5-8 Minutes Till powder Starts to melt/Flow out . Remove and let them cool enough to touch and remove any masking. They go back in the Oven for Full Bake cycle for 20-minutes 375-deg..

Ztron 7 Report post Posted February 22, 2009 I want to get my wheels, rearsets, heel guards, forks, and calipers done. What do I need to do to get them ready? Edit: Nevermind, I saw it on your website. On the front page it says there's an extra charge for painted or dirty parts. On the pricing page it says that's included in the price. I'm guessing that's just for motorcycle parts?
