"Tranny" Issues :)

Recommended Posts

Engine removal and case split exposed some damaged gears and shift fork #3-#4 gears. Transmission locked to one gear during ride.

Remainder of bike fully cleaned to all harnesses, connectors, accessories. Its an easy time to scrub every inch of the remaining chassis.

Thank you Terry because as you know W/O him you may not ride till next year and I would not have made it to the Gap!

OK maybe you could figure it out being an EX bike mechanic but I sure couldn't!!!

$740 is totally worth it and Terry will have it running better than new. I know you'll get your $ worth out of it, hell you already have.

Paul, I took the liberty of prepping your GSXR1000 engine while waiting for the transmission parts.

We had a slight malfunction...

Paul, when we shifted it 1-6 and 6-1half a does times on the stand we both knew that was the "break-in period".

It wasnt like we were seating piston rings on a cylinder wall or taking it easy the 1st hundred miles on new tire.

Like any tool used for a specific purpose--either it works or it doesnt.
