That looked like a lot of fun. What a unique experience to have at COTA

RTS!!!

Yes it brought back some excitement for track days for me... until the next crash.

Sitting in the van shopping for race suits and tire warmers :)

He was signing autographs today, but none of us wanted to risk a concussion. :D

He did not sign autographs, I was in line and they canceled it. :(

My wife was more disappointed about it then I was when I told her I did not get his autograph.

Same here... Better than I expected, besides the allergies of course. I need to prepare better for that.

Why am I reminded of "Midget Wrestling" when I watch this video?

And we need to pick lunch stops ahead of time as well. :D

I really, really think I'd like to make the full 3 days at the track. I know others probably see it as overkill but I'd be curious if it's worth the extra day just once. Friday would be the demo rides, souvenir shopping (maybe get that suit next year, JJ :) ), autograph sessions, etc... Saturday for photos, I want to do the tower at least once, and whatever else...

I would do that too... I just have to figure out how avoid my allergies next year.

I think the place we went to eat in Little Rock was pretty good. But we got sent there from ERAC Agent.

Yep.. the place in Little Rock was good... was just thinking more of planning it ahead of time so the places may be more "on the way" than the scouring Yelp or Trip Advisor on the way down. :D

You mean you don't want to stop at that Subway on the way back? :)

Saw this in Reddit this morning. Guess it answers my question about whether the safety cars actually get shipped or what.

Seems like a waste of money. The cost of moving them around is pretty close to keeping them in each venue or at least in each region.

I dunno, compared to all the other stuff they must haul around a couple of cars is probably a pretty small drop in the bucket. Storage ain't free, either.

That makes sense too.

I'd be happy to keep it at my place for the rest of the year and keep the tires rotated.

They were hauling ass on the track. I wouldn't mind having that job.
