Speeding ticket and new Missouri law

Recommended Posts

Is anyone familiar with the new MO law about amending speeding violations > 20 MPH? It's my understanding that you can only plead guilty and take the points or plead guilty and do community service + driver school...has anyone gone through this? This is my first ticket in many years and I don't usually speed on the highway...super bummed.

I haven't heard of a new law about it. I've had two tickets fixed this year and one was for 27 over.

I do know that Warren County will not let you amend citations to a none moving violation without doing the court appearance, driving class, and one year supervised probation.

I use abglawfirm.com for all my tickets that can be fixxed

Thanks for the info, appreciate it.

I used ben capshaw when I got a ticket a year or two ago. Went from mandatory court appearance to a parking ticket. so that was nice.
