2019 Challenge

I'm going to try to run 365 miles this year.  Already on track to do 730, but that's unlikely to last.

I'm easing into the diet again... Too many treats left over from NYE to just pitch them, once all the goodies are gone I'll be buckling down and watching what I eat.

I plan to dispose of all chocolate shortly.  Hopefully can run 3 miles every other day.  Only 36 minutes (and hopefully less soon).

I feel slightly heavy at 184.5 on home scale :rolleyes:

Will have more accurate # next Tuesday at Dr. office.

Virtually no weight change since I was 19 years old, now 51.

Weight gain is one item I've  never had to deal with.

I’m down 33lbs. My race suit is so loose now it’s awesome.

I knew you were faster than me! That is a 12 minute mile pace.  I am still doing what I call the old man shuffle of 14 minute pace. I may get a bit faster if I keep this up, but doubt I can do 12 minutes.

14 is good!  I added 2 miles yesterday so I'm at 34, a bit of headstart on February ...

Did my 28 for Feb.  Onto March.  Likely some treadmill days ahead ☹️

I only managed to do 34.58 miles for February, but I was on vacation for a week in Cancun.

I'm doing some riding again on the stationary bicycle, I'm getting in about 20 miles per session. I hope to do 3-4 session a week, we will see.

41 miles running in April.  136 YTD.  Have started going 4.0 miles every couple of days; just gotta stay at it and start in the early morning as it gets hotter...

Wow, you really stepped up in April! I on the other hand had my lowest mileage this year, only 23.22 miles in April.  But I had to take off 2 weeks while I was fixing a retaining wall in my backyard that collapsed from the heavy rain we had in early April. YTD I am at 144.4.
