Morbo 1,568 Report post Posted September 28, 2019 So, bear with me, haven't done the long trip before. Acquiring some essentials for the trip - plug kit, rain suit, etc. Is there anything you guys would recommend as a must-have?
Speed 3,335 Report post Posted September 28, 2019 Hmm. Underwear? 😂 On one trip I burned a side bag on the exhaust and had to buy new ones. Just joking. Wrenches that fit your bike, like a compact kit. If you want some chain lube but I don't do that often. That's all I can think of right now.

Speed 3,335 Report post Posted October 7, 2019 Home safe. Thanks Dave for setting up and leading another great trip. It was definitely an adventure. Despite the BS with my suspension, we had an awesome time. Can't wait for the next one... after I fix the suspension issues 😁 4

Speed 3,335 Report post Posted October 7, 2019 13 minutes ago, dogpark said: Oh do tell! I will in private as far as the suspension BS We had a great time on the way down no rain great roads. Day 2 was different 😉 - we figured we would skirt the edge of the storm and we did for a while. Then, on the way to the Cliff House, we saw the clouds but none of us said, hey we should put our rain gear on... It was a good soaking. Out of the Cliff House,we decided to head back instead of dropping down into Jasper for gas. We had dense fog and, Well, one of us only gets 100 miles a tank 😁. SoI stayed with Mr 🦊 and waited while JJ and Dave got gas. While waiting, we started hearing thunder and the skies opened again while we were on the side of the road. This time with rain gear on though 😂 Michele made the wise decision to stay at the hotel for Day 2. Through the whole trip I kept fiddling with my suspension because it never felt half as good as it did before... I was unsuccessful. It's one of those trips that you remember later and talk about the drenching rain and fog and running out of gas... That's the adventure 😁 3

Dippnet 723 Report post Posted October 8, 2019 Sounds like it was a fun time. I will have to try to do this sometime I like adventures. I can probably add some to it because I’ve been known to run out of gas also.:)
